“While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts…” Hebrews 3:15

God speaks to us in many ways: through His word, By His Spirit, through circumstances, through other people. Since the very beginning, it has been God’s desire to communicate with His creation, that He might fellowship with them, and instruct them, and guide them in making the right choices. But, as is true in every relationship, communication is a two-way street; no matter how much one person in a relationship may attempt to communicate, it can not be accomplished if the other person in the relationship is not listening. It is clear that God has made every attempt to make Himself known to us, to communicate His plans and His desires to us. But often times, because we don’t like what we hear, or because we simply aren’t paying attention, we miss what God is trying to say to us. And as a result, as much as He tries, and as beneficial as His words are, they do us no good, because we are not prepared to receive them. Do you want to hear from God today? The fact is, God is speaking. The question is, are you listening?
