“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalms 19:14

There are two things in our lives that God has a keen interest in. He is interested in our words and He is interested in our thoughts. Because God created us, He, above all, is aware that what we do starts with where our thoughts are, and that what we say creates the impression that others have of us. And so, for those who know Him, God expects us to speak differently and think differently than those who don’t know Him. He wants our words and our thoughts to be surrendered to Him, so that those things might reflect who we belong to. Our words ought to bring glory to Him. Our thoughts should be committed to Him, so that our behavior might demonstrate His qualities to those around us. Our words and our thoughts will show who or what we have committed our lives to. As believers, God has left us on this earth so that others might know of the great salvation that He has provided to all who will come to Him by faith. And everything we think and everything we say must be committed to Him so that His message is clearly presented in our lives. Would others know that you belong to Him through your words and your actions? What do your words and your thoughts say about you?
