“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27

We have in the English language what are called “rhetorical questions.” These are questions whose answers are obvious, and they are asked, not to gain information, but rather to emphasize a point. And that is what we have here; God’s question is a rhetorical question. He is the Lord of all flesh; He has control of everything and everyone on the earth. And as a result, nothing that we ask of Him is too difficult. We can never present such a challenge to God where He can not provide the solution or meet the need. Now, to us, the challenges seem insurmountable. The circumstances that occur in our lives simply seem to have no answer and seem to be unchangeable. But those are the very things that God can easily handle. It is beyond our realm of thinking, but we must realize that, to God, there are no challenges. There is nothing that occurs in our lives that gives Him pause or that causes Him to question His ability to handle it. What challenge are you facing today that seems simply too difficult to conquer? Present it to “the God of all flesh,” the One who is all-powerful and has control over all things. He will provide an answer, because nothing is too hard for Him.
